The world today is full of racism, racist comments and racist acts.

Many black people in our community are not immigrants and were born in the United Kingdom. With illegal immigrants turning up every day in our country, blame is shot to these people who are British citizens.

At football matches, racist comments and remarks are made when the person they are aimed at maybe truly innocent, I was watching a program the over night called “hooligans” the racist remarks were disgusting singing songs as black man walked, and as an asain walked by.

What is the point in all this none on us know why these people choose to hate blacks and asians. We are all human beings we are all no different well we are on the out side but not on the inside we all have feelings.

I have come across racist people, and some off my mates are racist cos off there clothes and language he is always saying racist comments and I tell him to stop it and he goes asain lover (he doesn’t say that, the more offensive one) which I really hate because and I think its disgusting just because they speak a different language and they where different clothes and they are different colour off skin doesn’t mean they are any different.

There isn’t really any bad racism in my school because if you are you are out off there for good. But there is the odd bit, asains get their turbans pulled off their heads and some have even broke down in tears for that, and all they could do is laugh.
And last week a black student was being called all the names out off the book, because he wasn’t a very popular kid and because he was black. They even told my mate to say something! But he refused thanks god. But some times people go to far, my mum is a dinner lady at m school and because some people get there about 10 minutes before the bell they aren’t allowed in, and they say ‘ It’s cos I’m black isn’t it?’ which I think is stupid my mum isn’t a racist person.

There are racist comments about asains of which every paper shop is own by an asain which I think is ridiculous, I recall that being said in the bill.

Racist words are popular in songs now; such as Eeminem he says quiet a lot racist remarks, I know he isn’t racist but I don’t think its rite. It’s the same with Dr. Dre
He says it all as well, I know he doesn’t mean what he says but some people do that’s what I don’t like.

Has any off you seen the film American history X well that’s a good film it shows how Natzi worshipers come to like all raises, which to me brings a good morel to people all over the world to accept people as they are.

Well I don’t think racism is as bad as it was, where black people where not allowed in white schools, which I thought was stupid. And in them times if you was white and going out with a black you was considered sick and you was offern beat up for it by blacks and whites.

Black, white, asain, Japanese, Indian, English, there is no difference to who we are we are all human beings. So what is the point off racism?

This is my first decent and serious post yet because I am now a regular. Hope you enjoyed reading it.

Well said.

Racism has no place in society at all and definatly not at football matches. Well written apart from a few typos. :-)

Football hooligans should be ignored, they would have a go at anyone different - some of the things they did on that program were sick. I'm not racist at all, i think it's ridiculous to paint everyone the same, but I can understand where people's feelings come from. However it would be impossible for me to explain to anyone unless you lived in the areas that had these problems on a large scale.

As for the channel tunnel, I don't know why they bother to keep it open, it doesn't make profit and just causes a headache.

Although it sounds nasty sometimes you have to be racist for the good this country. Blair certainly isn't. He is thinking of building camps for hundreds of immigrants in the british country side.
He wants to build a camp for a thousand of these people next to a village with no bus and no shop and with only a 160 people living there. It's stupid. I live in a village that not very big and if there was a plan to build one near us i would have something to say about it.
I don't hate people of ethnic minority coming into this country if they have employment and pay taxes etc. But what i don't want is people like my dads tax money that should be spent on our national health service or paying pensions etc to go to these camps where all they do is sit around and get looked after by the state.
I also think that we should close down trading with france untill they get proper security at the channel tunnel.
