I've been lucky enough to own an import DC for a couple of years, and i've only just noticed how many games never arrived here from the States & Japan...

Ooga Booga: a kind of 4-player caveman olympics

Heavy Metal: A Capcom shooter/fighter based on comic of the same name

Evil Twin: a bit lame

Sega Marine Fishing: Bass Fishing but with sharks, stingrays etc

Sega Smash vol 1: 12 Sega 16-bit classics... Shinobi, Golden Axe, Sonic, Columns etc

...there are probably loads more, let alone the millions of Ganbare Goemon 176,897 games, obscure romantic RPGs and robot suit-shooters from Japan

It's a shame, surely it wouldn't have been TOO much effort to have released the US/Jap back catalogue in Europe. Especially with the Arsenal/Top Dogs/Dreamcast sponsorship/Front Page Advertising thing leaving foolish 'gooners' wondering what they were meant to be buying.

the game that didnt make it that whizzed me off was "D2", i was waiting for months, it was a resi clone but with some 1st person elements that made it pretty intereasting, the fact that it was all done and was just waiting for a european publisher was the biggest blow.....it sucked that no-one picked up the tab.
Another was propeller arena, 4-player airplane game that would have ruled on so many levels, ok so we wouldent have got the on-line option but still, thank you mr bin lardin and yout taliban cronies, it was canned due to sega's over sensitive PR board, and that ol' september 11th thing??.
Oh and Half-life I dont know if any of you where here when I had that half-life thread where everyday someone would find stuff to say about it not coming out then everyday Id rack my brains and find proof that it was and tell people that it was coming out and that they were stupid......... and then it was canned.........D'oh!!!

One game which didn't get released in Europe but which is well worth playing is the comical survival horror entitled "Illbleed".
