You can't really define it, though i'm sure there is an attempt in the dictionary. It can't be categorised like that because it is different for everybody. Some people worship the person they love, and will lavish gifts constantly not to gainn favour, but because they want to express how happy the other person makes them. Others won't do anything for their loved one, except be there for them when they need it. People do whatever is individual to them, however they react at the feeling of loving, or being loved.
When I first "fell in love" when I was 19 years old, for the first time in my life, I was motivated to get out of bed early every day, just so I could go over to see someone. I wanted to be with her all the time, wanted to go places, and experience things. I wanted to live my life like every day was day 1, and that it would go on forever. Not everyone reacts that way, not everyone reacts at all. Love is just love, there's no other way of explaining it.
