MySQL is a Database application. Little like Microsoft Access. It's something that works well along PHP, so you can store data on the MySQL Database, and let PHP read, change and manipulate it in a way you like.

Like you'd need Microsoft Access installed on your computer to view access files, you need a host with MySQL installed on its servers. Freeola don't have this, as do not a lot of Free Hosts. Its not something yo can decide to upload or not, its down to your hosts weather they aupport MySQL and PHP or not.

MySQL will only work if your host supports it. You'll have to see. It's not something you can upload onto your webspace so it works.

PhpBB is a forum but it will only work if your host supports mySQL. Who is your host by the way?
