Well on TV it just showed you the faces of the two naked Men that came on and not their silky footie skills. Not to mention anything else...

Yep it was just what we wanted...a great match topped of with a superb winning goal from Zidane.

LOL at Butt on the first goal. Can't believe he let it in!

Leverkusen played better in the first half. Although they did play well in the last 7 minutes of injury time. Two saves off the line! How unlucky can you get? But they have had a bit of luck actually getting to the final though...

Fantastic game, fantastic atmosphere. We were sitting behind the goal that Zidane scored at: just a brilliant view of a goal that deserved to win the cup. He was fantastic throughout: strong, intelligent, and too cool for his own good.

Not sure if they would have shown the streaker on tv, but that was entertaining. He took the ball off the toe of a Leverkeusen striker and then dribbled from the centre circle before slotting calmly home - he had some nifty celebrations too: when he finally left the field, the whole ground gave him a good ovation. It might have been funny but I doubt it will have enhanced Scotland's chances of getting Euro 2008. (And letting a SECOND guy onto the pitch, while the game was actually going on, was just stupid.) It won't have helped either that most of the Madrid fans ended up on the pitch after the ceremony: a few hundred of them even got up on the podium and danced around.

Still, an excellent night's entertainment: and all for a bargain price of thirty quid!

I think he's a very good player. I think he's top scorer in Germany and he's a midfielder.

One player who could make all the difference:
'Michael Ballack'

He's the type of player that can threaten defences and create chances through the middle, with confidence and un-predictabillity that very few others posess!

Should be great, I know the atmosphere will be. Spent this morning in glasgow, had an exam at uni then spent a while wandering arounf George Square which was full of spanish and german fans as well as the sponsors sush as a Big sony PS2 tent with loads of games etc. Spanish fans were singing and dancing everywhere I went and loads of people looking forward to the game.

I hope the game is good, probably watch it at home or go out to pub to watch it, could be a great game or pants, you know the way some finals go.

Leverkusen aint no push over.

They woudnt be in the final biggest world club cup tournomount otherwise.

They will have to be top of thier game though to beat Real.

The Pressure is all on Real though, where as Leverkusen have nothing to lose.

This is Real's Centenery season and it hasnt gone very well at all. They were beaten in the copa del rey final by Deportivo in thier own back yard and they finished la liga behind Valencia. They Could end up finishing with nothing...

Having said that Leverkusen threw away the League Title as well...I think they were 5 points clear with only 3 games left...

It will be quite a mockery if Leverkusen do win it. They have never even won the German League and could end finishing the season as the highest ranked club team in the World.

Can never really predict cup finals...Just depends who has the luck most times. Leverkusen have the advantage of having the Hunger, and have shown they can cope with the big boys by knocking out Man Utd and Liverpool.

But thier best performances have come at home. They only won in La Coruna becasue Deportivo fielded a weakened side.

I still cant call it though...Perhaps Real, but not easily.

There will allways be upsets but the Real Madrid team just has too much quality all over the park.

I'll miss the final though as I am going to Florida tommorrow, d'oh.

That's what Juventus thought when they met Dortmund. No one gave Dortmund a chance but they won 3-1.
