I don't know whats wrong with me but I am finding myself always buying new games for my PS2.
About two years ago when I was always playing on my PS1 I was not thinking twice about getting a lot of games.
Now i'm constantly thinking about which game to buy next.

So far I have 10 games and still waiting to buy more.

These are the games I have:
(They are in order to when I bought them)

- Tekken Tag Tournament
- Resident Evil Code Veronica
- ZOE (Zone Of Enders)
- Grand Turismo 3
- NHL 2002
- Pro Evolution Soccer
- Grand Theft Auto III
- Ace Combat : Distant Thunder
- Metal Gear Solid 2
- LMA 2002

They are quite a lot aren't they.

It all started when I was buying the Official Playstation 2 Magazines every month. (Still do, I have every issue)
Anyway im reading along the articles and every review i'm reading inspires me to buy new games. I know its crazy but then again i might be crazy.
MGS2 that was a must buy game I admit.
Graphics have become so advanced over the past few years that noone can stop talking about them. People will go mad in a few more years time coz the graphics they see now, will advance so much that they won't believe how much changed.

When the PS1 consoles came out everyone was stunned by how the graphics of games looked. Now they look back and the graphics just seem boring.
I believe this will happen with the PS2.

There are rumours that PS3 will come out in 2005, weither if this is true I don't know. If it does come out then the PS2 will be looked upon as a substitute. PS1 will exist no more.

The XBOX is an amazing machine as I have got friends that own one.
The games are superb. Especially Halo. This game is one of a kind.
It's basically a shoot em up game, the best thing is you blast everybody off.
I am sticking with PS2 though, because the XBOX crashes.
(On a number of occassions).

My friend was playin Halo when suddenly the screen mashed up.
Different colours were spread out everywhere. (It happened five times, a lot in my books)
I said to him, "Man ur lucky you got it for free!"

He one it in a competition.
Despite this I bet that happens with most the XBOX's.

I bet you lot thinking what my next game will be.

It's obvious: Final Fantasy X

The official Playstation 2 Magazine gave the game an 8.
An 8 can you believe it?
That game should have blatantly got a 10. It's got good graphics, good gameplay and its damn exciting. (Played demo)

Man I can't wait till it comes out!
Released: 24th May 2002!

Anyway i'm going to log off now coz I have to finish my coursework.

FFX should have got a 10 should it? Because it's got good graphics and gamneplay?

So, you've played it completely through have you? You know that the story is the worst seen in a Square game for years? You know that the turn based battles have become more incohesive than milk? Yet you'd still give it a 10?

Remember that graphics mean nothing- zilch. ALL that matters is good gameplay, originality and innovation. It's not like a game like Street Fighter 2 becomes any less classic because it's graphics are basic by today's standards... it is still the best balanced game of all time.
