Medal of honor - frontline:
The medal of honor series comes onto PS2 and the game looks really good and the release date it set on next month. The PSW demo makes the game look like the most wanted game since Metal gear solid 2. On the PSW demo it shows the Ohama beach landing which was taken straight out of Saving Private ryan which was taken out of World War II (obviously) and the graphics look amazing and realistic. It is released in america on june 6th and it comes out over here "soon after". The game also has certain routes you can take during the game.

Commandos 2:
graphically it looks good and the demo on it looks promising but it looks a bit easy and i didnt really like the game. It has been in development since i got my PS2 (last march) so obviously it must have had quite a lot of work put into it. Comes out in september.

Conflict Desert Storm:
now this is the game i have been waiting for since december, you control a team of four which (and you get the choice) of either SAS soldiers or the american Delta force, this will have the most realistic AI yet and the other three members can look after themselves when you aint controlling them, it is based in iraq and come out on the 20th june according to PSW

Prisoner of war:
No guns or any weapons at all in this game, you control one man and his freedom rests in your hands, he has to walk around and work out which people will halp him escape and which will grass him up, the makers (codemasters) say that if you put your mind to it then any escape plan that you think might work will work in the game.

im Bored now.

Desert storm does look good, but I'm not excited as much about this game than I am about MOH. I think this is because I have Operation Flashpoint on the PC which is the difinitive war game on any format. Although Desert storm should be more simpler to control and easier to fall into, so it will be a game on my most wanted list.

Dynasty Warriors 3 is quite a good game, especially when creating massive battle scenes. You can pick up new weapons from defeated generals but you can only select them before the next battle. There are some massive fights you get into aswell, it gives more of a sense of you being in the middle of a huge war which I didn't think was present in Dynasty Warriors 2.

You can also have a two player co-operative mode which makes the game even more fun to play. Worth getting if you're a beat em up fan looking for something different.

I reckon the best war game would be like Dynasty Warriors but instead of having your army in little groups, it was a massive battle like at the beggining of Gladiator. Instead of having to unlock new weapons, you pick them up off of your victims after they have been slayed. I had the idea of thhis game a couple of years ago which is why i was really happy when i heard about Dynasty Warriors 3 allowing you to take control of a warrior.

It's nice to see some decent war games coming to the ps2, I've been waiting for ages for the console to exploit the genre. I think medal of honour will be the best though especially if it plays as good as the PC version.

Getting the new medal of honour game since the PC one is brillient, I expect this one to be as well, got Commandos 2 on the Pc which is a great stratagy game and well worth getting if your in the genre, Desert storm looks good though I'm not sure if I'll find it as good operation flashpoint on the PC which I cosider 'the' war game of all time, and I'm not sure about prisoner of war since I prefer action war games, though it does look interesting, so I don't know yet.

I see you missed out Ace Combat 4 and Dropship which are out already. I'm getting dropship for my next game because I've heard good things about it. I've also played demos of the game and consider it to be one of the best, and easiest to control flight sims on any format. So then, a good line up for war games, I can't wait get my hands on a couple of those titles, but I've just got to wait.
