My Best 10 games ever in no order:

My number 10 would have to be pro evolution soccer for PS2,
This is by far the greatest football game ever because of it’s realism and fantastic
game play and graphics. Easily the best football game ever made and a very worthy of being in my top 10

My number 9 is Goldeneye for the N64
In my opinion was the best game on the N64 and was one of the few games I liked on the console that many people thought was a flop and I would have to agree that it was a bit poor, but Goldeneye is different altogether. Goldeneye is one of the most realistic games I have ever played and also I think it is the best multiplayer game ever made. The graphics are brilliant and the game play was one of the best around and I think this was the one of the few games that gave Nintendo a satisfactory console.

My number 8 is Resident Evil: Code Veronica for PS2
This Horror from Capcom is as good a horror game you will find because it is an excellent game. The graphics are realistic and have a good sharpness to them and the game play is as good as the previous series and if you have played a resident Evil game then you will already know how good it feels to shoot zombies heads off etc.

My number 7 is Metal Gear Solid; this game was a shock to the gaming industry as it was a quite brilliant game. The idea of using stealth in game made this one of the number one games of all time. The gameplay, apart form Metal Gear Solid 2 was the best I have ever played and it deserved all the praise it got.

My number 6 is Metal Gear Solid 2; This was one of the most hyped games ever to be released and I think it lived up to it’s expectations because it was exceptional, the gameplay was the best ever and the graphics was up there with it. Easily a worthy winner of game of the year.

My number 5 is Championship manager 01/02 because it is so addictive and it has so much depth it is unbelievable. A game which you can play for months because there are so many trophies you can win.

My number 4 is GTA3; A huge title which has rocked the nation with it’s violence and controversy but what a game it was. The gameplay is the most unrestricted I have ever played as you can go and do pretty much what ever you like. The graphics were simply amazing, the detail that went into the city’s were brilliant.

My number 3 is GT2; I loved this game because it had so much to do and so much depth in the game. You could buy loads of cars and you could do so many races and modifications to the cars.

My number 2 is GT3; the handling is better than GT2 but this game doesn’t have as much depth as it’s previous release but this game still has loads of cars and loads of races.

My number 1 is Max Payne; the story line to this game was so good that apparently there is a movie coming out based on the story. It is a super game and has some great features, like dodging bullets in matrix style, bullet time. The game is brilliant, a must get for people who like 3rd person style games and great story lines.

Another top ten....

1. PES PS2 - without doubt the only true football game ever made(until PES2)

2 Tekken2 PS1 - many many many hours of blissed out fighting mayhem in multiplayer mode

3 Silent Hill PS1 - Taught Resident Evil a lesson about atmosphere

4 MGS PS1 - Is this really a PS1??!!Technically brilliant.

5 Syphon Filter 2 PS1 - Possibly more involving/exciting than MGS, much more of a guns-blazing romp.

6 Everybodys Golf 2 PS1- Lazy Lazy afternoons.....

7 SSX Tricky PS2 - Almost perfect

8 Rez PS2 - Has become part of my consciousness....

9 Gran Turismo PS1 - Do we really need another driving game?

10 Left this slot open so that when MOH:Frontline comes out the top nine can all move down a place......

:o)

I can't think of my best 10 ever. but heres 10 games i own or have owned which come to mind as being paticularly memorable. (in no particular order)

1. Streets of Rage (MD)
Classic beat 'em up, strolling through town, picking up weapons and whooping azz!

2. Paperboy (Spectrum)
One of the best games i ever owned for my trusty Sinclair Spectrum. Rest in Peace...

3. GTA1 (PS1)
Ground-breaking game. First game to have true violence

4. GTA3 (PS2)
The best game around today. Freedom to destroy, wreak havoc and basically do whatever you want.

[Note the absence of GTA2. I thought this game didn't have the same charm of GTA1]

5. GTA2 (PS1)
Not as good as GTA3 but was far better for its time.

6. Tekken 2 (PS1)
Still one of the greatest fighting games ever.

7. Halo (Xbox)
THE best FPS ever....

8. Tony Hawks 3 (PS2)
So addictive, so many tricks, wicked skate parks, etc.....

9. FIFA 2002 (PS2)
Dont ask me why, i just love it and think its better than Pro-Evo!

10. Super Mario Kart (Snes)
One of the craziest 2player games i've ever played. Much better than the N64 reincarnation.

So thats my 10. Aaah all those memories!

Heres my ten faves in no particular order

Football manager - Spectrum - spent hours on it all those years ago.
Super Sprint - Arcade - Me and my mates spent numerous lunchtimes playing this.
Gauntlet - Arcade - Ditto
Duke Nukem 3D - PC - Still play this virtually every day over the office network.
Mario Kart 64 - N64 - All the family playing this was so cool.
Tony Hawks - All Versions - How many hours have I wasted trying to get those combo's.
Pro Evolution - PS2 - Has there ever been a better playing Footie game ?
Toca 2 - psx - great handling, great tracks, great AI, great game.
Doom - PC - The genre defining title that had it all, even that damn spooky music.
Goldeneye - N64 - What more can be said - great in Single and mutliplayer.

Yup popeye was on the 2600 & the 5200 (put 5400 by accident). I had an imported American 5200, with the 2600 converter. I loved popeye so much, and Pitfall was fantastic. Sold the lot to my mate to get a few more games for my amiga, so now it all lives on only in emulation.
Scrub JSR:Future from my list and put Cannon Fodder in its place. I got WinUae and have been playing that more than any of my consoles put together.

*War... Never been so much fun...*
