This is a question for Stryke.

What the hell is wrong with you? Why is it that whatever I post, if you reply to it, I get put down, no matter what I post, no matter when I post it.

Is it something I've said or done? If so then WHAT?

If it's about me and Dringo's anti-notable stories, then what's wrong with them? There are many other stories using member's names on ukchatforums! And so for the last election and this one I decide to join in after getting bad press from members moaning about me not liking the notable system. I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't.

Or is it just my humour you don't like? If so, why read it? Nobody is forcing you to read anything by me!

Or maybe it's just my username you don't like. You see the name 'Edgy' and your brain reads it as "idiot".

I'm all for jokes. I thought it quite funny, though not the funniest topic I've read, when I saw your spoof of a Notable Hunter story. Though I dislike your attitude towards me in thinking of me as some spotty nerd who's balls haven't dropped!

And what's this with me copying what you did in the last election? As far as I can remember all you posted was stuff like "You suck, I rule" as a way of getting people to vote, which is an unusual tactic. If that jokey campaign message was similar to something you've done, then SORRY! Though I don't call people who have done similar topics to what I've done in the past idiots. I take no notice, and maybe post my own opinions on the matters.

Is it something to do with me choosing Shaneo as a friend? If so then what's it to you? Have you got a problem with me being friends with anyone else I am friends with? Atleast with Shaneo, you know what he's done in the past, whereas with my other friends, you don't know a thing about them, yet you've not complained about that.

Whatever it is let me know. I'd rather sort things out then reply to your petty, childish messages that target me. No one else seems to have a problem with me on here. Fair play they may not like me, but no one else makes petty comments like you have!

If we can't sort things out, then just ignore my messages, stay clear of them, and don't talk about me in any topics. Act as if I'm not here.

It's bad enough with wars going on all over the world, than having to put up with vendettas across an internet message board.

So if you've got a problem with me, without sounding like a 12 year old (unless you are but despite your childish comments, you seem older) say now so we can sort things out, or forever hold your peace.

Maybe, but you don't exactly visit these chat forums so people can annoy, take the p!ss out of you and even bully you. You come here to chat, right? From what I can tell, that's what Edgy's doing.

If you don't like someone's ideas or topics, then just ignore them.

One thing to Grix, I see your point, but surely people are going to be hurt if you just say "I don't like you,"? And if you provide reasons it may hurt even more.

There's a difference between bullying and being a right prat. Bullying is when the victim takes everything to heart and feels hurt inside whether due to physical or verbal bullying. I have not taken anything Stryke has said to heart.

However, I have found some (not all!) his messages to be really annoying and pointless provocation for arguments. I don't think I've ever replied to a topic with a message of no relavance to the topic itself, bitching about anyone (ie stryke with his comment about me being an idiot). There's no point in it, it spoils the forums and ends up annoying people.

I've got nothing against people having a joke at my username's expense. I'm all for a laugh, and when I do read fictional jokes about me I laugh at them. However, I did not sign up here to be insulted, or to be bitched about for any reason at all. I could go back into school to have that done!

I'm not trying to take away anyone's freedom of speech, and I'm not trying to spoil anyone's fun. I am just trying to defend myself against the utter crap I've put up with for a short while, and am trying to find out what the problem actually is.

In response to Grix's message, a discussion board like this can not fully express a person's personality. Just like it's hard to tell people's expressions, whether they are smiling, frowning or just staring at the screen as if they've seen a monkey sat on the loo reading a newspaper, it is difficult to work out people's personalities. You can't tell whether people are acting on here to hide their real personalities, hell you can't even tell if they're male or female most of the time!

So if people are going to, as you assumed I was talking about, bully people on here because of their personalities, then they are even sadder than those who do it in real life. How can you bully a username? And why? What satisfaction can the bully get? Still, every person (well nearly everyone) has feelings behind those computer monitors and keybards. They can still feel hurt when they are victimised, even if it seems trivial to you. Just because one person doesn't feel like it could effect them, it can still effect others.

Also, don't know about you, but if theres someone posting on here whos, weird or annoying I don't post in that thread, I don't try and build my post count up with an arguement with them, thats all I see Stryke do in here, obviously he posts good stuff in the Movie forum, but then I don't look for his posts, they just happen to appear infront of me.

Thats the point of this thread, Styke seems to 'bully' people or just write completly irrelevant posts for ansolutly no reason, and even if he is writting them because hes bored, tired, annoyed, and no other reason than that, well some people will obviously take it the wrong way, it just depends on you, I bet someone could slate you all night and you wouldn't care, well I guess thats a good attitude, but doesn't work for everyone.

Well there we are then. You don't go to a gym if you don't want to get fit. You don't come to forums if you don't want to discuss and talk with other people. There are going to be personalities here that clash with your own, so deal with it.

I can't say I see eye to eye with everyone, and I'm not afraid to speak my mind. But I can see people for who they are, and that's the most important thing in my mind. If I don't like someone, I say. I don't expect them to feel that they're the worst person in the world from my judgement, because that's all it is. My judgement. I am but one human, and if you're afraid of upsetting one person, then you've SERIOUSLY got a personality problem.
