Morning guys, still a bit tired but I have lots of things to do today.

I have to get the newspaper, buy the lottery tickets, go into town and do some shopping, do some chores around the house and garden. Then I suppose work on my site. Actually that's not really a lot of things I have to do :/.

What are you up to this weekend? Smedlos you must be sitting by the window with your BBQ all ready just waiting for it to stop raining heh. And Kawada, knowing you it'll be PGR3.

You were at a camp and had your tent searched for cigarettes because you smelt of smoke? Wow. Camping usually means smoke everywhere; the combination of being surrounded by woodsmoke and drinking rather too much is rather unhelathy, by the way!

I once relit a Scout fire (with just leaves and a few left over ambers), when I got back to my group, I stank of smoke, they thought that I'd been smoking, a searched my tent for fags...

Weird things do happen... I know someone who ended up being ejected from a campsite after someone they had gone camping with decided to set a tree on fire!

Looks pretty gory stuff! I reckon it'll go right to the back of your mind though, you'll have plenty else to focus on, there's always something to do... that said, last camping trip I went to which wasn't based around partying in some capacity was the 1999 National Scout Air Rifle Championship; jeez, that was quite some time ago!

No, as a girl guide I've camped loads of times, it is just that I saw a film not too long ago, about camping, the film was called scarred, it freaked me out! I'll try and find a trailer or clip or some thing :(

Up until about 2003 I went camping quite a lot (during the summer that is), upto 5 times a year, with mates ... to the lake district, newquay, wherever.

It's cheap as chips and great fun once you get a fire going etc, few guitars, crates of beer, you're laughing.

Course, any more than 2 or so nights it gets a bit much even with a camp bed to keep you comfy. I woke one morning when someone decided to land a hot air balloon about 30 ft from my tent.

Must be getting old but I find a nice cosy bed and breakfast far more agreeable now :) One in newquay this year was only about £15 a night with a full english all you could eat every morning, you can't grumble at that eh?

Camping isn't so bad; I'd just advise that you try and keep warm camping at this time of year, and that you don't make the mistake me and my mates did at the Reading Festival: Keeping a load of rather wet, muddy boots in the middle of a tent!
