Morning guys, still a bit tired but I have lots of things to do today.

I have to get the newspaper, buy the lottery tickets, go into town and do some shopping, do some chores around the house and garden. Then I suppose work on my site. Actually that's not really a lot of things I have to do :/.

What are you up to this weekend? Smedlos you must be sitting by the window with your BBQ all ready just waiting for it to stop raining heh. And Kawada, knowing you it'll be PGR3.

This weekend I will most likely be working Saturday, then afterwards, either Saturday evening or Sunday, I will be out filming for my college coursework. I've got to the really fun part of the first year in my Interactive Media course: Audio Visual Techniques! Woo! I might also take some pictures of the roads in my village. As always, the "obvious" problem with the roads in my village are the boy racers speeding through the village to TEsco at 60mph. Ironically, when the nearby RAF base closed down, the problem was that the roads weren't big enough to cope with the lorries which would be coming through the village in the future, but now that the lorries are actually here, they're not a problem anymore, according to local newsletters. The problem is apparently boy racers. Being a new driver, I know that that's complete bullsh. The problem is the fact that people park on our very narrow roads on double yellow lines, outside the entrance of a bloody car park! They also double-park in far too many places to mention, park on corners, and is it just me, or do lil' old ladies drive at bloody 70mph through built-up areas?

Boy racers my a**e. That's the excuse for all bloody road problems, and I intend to highlight this fact to the concerned newsletters.

The nearby closed RAF base which I mentioned earlier is also the centre of attention at the moment, with people rushing off to it to snap up a new house there. I was on my way back from there a few days ago after safely driving over there to see a mate. On my way back, I always go over a single-file bridge, because it's too narrow for two cars. As well as the narrowness of the bridge, I am driving my dad's van, which is, as you'd expect, quite a bit wider than a car. So I get to the bridge, which has a blind corner immediately after it. I slow right down because I'm a new driver and am not up to taking risks yet. I'm halfway over the bridge, when an old lady (yes, an old lady) comes roaring over the bridge at perhaps 30mph when even 15 is only just suitable for that bridge. She doesn't stop either, in her automatic BMW. She comes roaring over this single-file bridge whilst my van is still on it. If you had put your little finger on the side of my wing mirror, you wouldn't have a little finger anymore - that's how small the gap was between us.

Err, oh yeah - so that's what I'm going to be doing this weekend!

Taking kids swimming on Saturday morning, watching Dr Who in the evening (and putting kids to bed).

Sunday afternoon I'm playing golf (well, Pitch and Putt) for a laugh with some friends.

It melted rather quickly, we didn't get much pleasure out of it. :(
