Membership for the year = £7.50
Average GAD win = £35
It would appear that SR basically go 5x the membership price 3 times a day, 5 days a week and so on.
Starting to see the difference in prices Goaty?
Yep, sure am.
I've seen some people whinging and moaning about how it's "not fair".
Excuse me?
You write a post, it wins you a game.
You claim that game, for free.
Yet some people are complaining about having to spend £7.50 per year in order to qualify for this?
Yes Goat, they are.
Are they ungrateful?
Why I would say so yes.
Is it unreasonable to ask that people join SR in exchange for the chance to win a gree game each and every day?
No Goat, it's not.
I've won..er..enough times now.
That equals about 3 lifetime's worth of membership fees.
That's right Goaty my old son.
*shakes head*
If I weren't so gosh darned nice, I'd say something about ungrateful grabby-handed pikeys wanting free games without thinking "Hey, maybe I could join SR and ensure they can keep giving me free stuff?"
But I am, so I won't.
Now I'm off to listen to Soil.
:D

Not a good way to make friends with the staff........
You gotta be a member to win GAD?
Dammit.

Damn. I thought I listened to a band that Goatboy hadn't heard of.
*goes off typing random words into KaZaA, in seach of some obscure music*
More to the point, if people are moaning about not winning a game then you have got to question why they post here in the first place.
I learned early on that blatent G.A.D. attempts can be smelt a mile off.
If people only posted here to win a game the quality of the posts would, at a guess be a-lot worse than they are now.
Any prize as far as I am concerned would be a bonus to an obviously well written post.
> Reddies?
Not really what I'd call a loyalty scheme.
I have 40+ Reddies, but (in my opinion) there isn't a free gift worth having. It would be much better if you could use them on anything SR stock, even if only as part-payment.
The only gift I was interested in was the inflatable chairs, but when I claimed one last time I renewed my membership, they weren't stocking them any more - and according to the list, they still aren't.
Bring back the inflatable chairs! I'm back off to uni in the autumn, and no student house is complete without some inflatable chairs.
I could claim three of them, and spend the summer blowing them up.
