IGN Cube is reporting that their sources have informed them of a new Star Fox game being developed jointly by Nintendo and Namco. The game is said to be in development for both the GameCube and Nintendo's Trifroce arcade hardware.

This title will be developed in addition to the upcoming Star Fox: Adventures for the Nintendo GameCube.

The new Star Fox title is reportedly a straight 3D shooter, which would be in the same vein as the previous Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 titles.

An official announcement is expected later this week.

N64 version frustating and unplayable eh?

Personally it was one of my fave games on the N64. Loved it better than Rogue Squadron.

How else can you end up buying the same game - which you hate - 3 times??

*sigh* well it had better be more playable and less frustrating than the N64 version, d amn i've had that game 3 times and have ended up selling it each time as it was so uninspiring and dull, on the other hand star fox adventures looks set to become a classic {:)
