Supposedly, yes. And they are spectacular. But after a while, you get the feeling (well, I did) when a crash isn't too bad, that you'd like to turn off the replays and have the opportunity try and control the car, recover and keep going.
The crashes are basically a novelty aspect that soon wears thin.

Had it on PS2. To be honest, I wouldn't bother with it. It's fun to start off with, but rapidly becomes tedious. Stopping the action after every crash for an instant replay becomes annoying very quickly.

Super Monkey Ball is great. Apparently Burnout's a decent racer, Bloody Roar a decent beat 'em up, Tony Hawks 3 is a decent version of the multiformat title. ISS is as good as the other ISS games. But how many games do you need?
