Think how much you spend/spent on games. I am only 14 and already I think I have spent around £500 on games/consoles/magazines. Don't get me wrong I love games and am very happy to spend my money on feeding my hobby. The thing is I just get a glimpse of a beautiful piece of gameplay somewhere and am already saying in my head '£40.. that isn't that much ... go on treat yourself.' That phrase is entering my head nearly every time I see a game.
Games are progressing extremely well and it is hard to keep up with the latest news on what's about to hit the shop shelves. The more games there are the more your are going to want to buy so you have to decide which ones you really really want. Well, you have a say in this and someone else does to. No not your grandma or your dad not even your mum!
*The scene*-Your sitting down in your humble abode innocently staring at the television when the adverts start to commence. 'ahhhh not another load, it was only 10 minutes ago when they had a break' you say to yourself.
You angrily sit their staring at your t.v screen anticipating when the adverts will finish when you mind is suddenly taken over by someone or something else.
The advert on the t.v starts playing happy jovial music and you sit their and feel a bit calmer. Someone pops out from the left hand side of the screen, your eyes slowly focus, you soon see who it is . ... its Mario.
More and more intrigued you get closer to the t.v and concentrate as if you were about to take an exam. The advert progresses and fills your brain with even more information about where to buy the game and how much it costs. You eyes are there not being deceiving but just looking.. just looking at the superb graphics of the game.
Your program that you were watching finally returns to the tv and all you can think of is doing more research on the game which is still freshly beautiful in your mind.
This is what they do they put on adverts which take mess with us and very cannot help but to give in. Do you get all excited when you see a great game on the t.v?
Thanks for reading :)
