So please could you lot tell me what best between them?
If you have to choose - my advice would be to get a PS2. But if you're limiting yourself to only Xbox or Gamecube, my advice would definitely be to go for the 'cube.
If you are really love games then this is the console for you, don't be fogged off by cheap imatations that claim to be games consoles *cough* PS2 and XBox *cough* go for the REAL games console, go for the GAMECUBE and you WILL NOT be dissapointed. {:)

What? £130 + £15= £145 That is £55 less than Xbox that is a LONG way off the price of an Xbox if working on a budget.

Yeah because soooo many people are in broadband enabled areas.

You have obviously never played super monkey ball. I would say it kicks Halo's ass, and thats saying something considering they are of different genres.

Some truth in this.

I will not take back my view about xbox having the best games. In my opinion it does.
And has Halo been confirmed for release on PC? If so you are gonna need one hell of a PC to run it. In fact the price paid to upgrade your PC to play it will be more than an xbox itself.

Nah, it's still way more expensive.

Don't say things like the games are the best or Nintys/Sonies will rip you apart...you should know that by now!

True, but I can play Halo on my PC in August and I have had Max Payne for over a year...you just won't see Rogue Leader on anyother system.

Tis' true.

Fair enough.
:0D
The GC is good, don't get me wrong it's just aside from Resident evil nothing as interested me so far. And add a memory card onto the price of the system and it around £150, not too far off the price of an xbox.
And with an xbox you get:
Unbelievably great, powerful system which as a hard Drive, and is also broadBroadband enabled. But more importaint than that, the games are the best.
Xboxs' launch games interms of content, quality and range was the best yet seen. The GCs in comparason was week as Rogue Leader is the only must have game.
As for PS2? Im sorry but it just seems dull, dull, dull beside the other two consoles.
But thats just my opinion.
Buy which system that has the games you want. You won't go wrong with either.

Then spend the spare £50 on 100 plectrums! Problem solved!
