No-ones really said much about these. Its about time we did.

I certainly applaud the device, as I, and I am sure many others, get annoyed when the controller wires get tangled up, and it takes ages to get them all sorted.

Also, there is a longer distance between you and console. This means that the console doesn't have to be in the middle of the floor when playing.

AND you don't have to aim the device at the console, so you are free to wave your arms all over the place without fear that the controller will stop working.

One thing sparks in my mind though, (OW!) and thats if you use four controllers, will there be any interference when using them, or in other words, can you use more than one at a time?

I definintely see them as an advantage. I was playing Zelda the other day, when my daughter grabbed the controller lead, almost pulling the N64 of the shelf.

Maybe they should put little solar panels on the controller so it doesn't need batteries?

no. He's too heavy.

But on a serious note, the PC and playstation already have wireless controllers, the PC having both infared and FM versions. They seem to work quite well until you get out of range and lose control, but this doesn't happen very often as most of them have quite a wide range.

The only other way would be to take power from the console itself. But since it's not attached, I expect batterys are needed. However, that is quite a small price to pay, don't you think?

hehehe.
nobody has replied about the battery bit but it is so true.
No matter how good a peripheral is, it doesnt want to be popular if it needs batterys, the rumble pak is an exmaple.

Also to stop interferring you can change the frequencies of the wavebird controllers so that if you play with more than one wavebird it will still work ok.
