I take it you have heard the news of this game by now. Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness will be split into four games with a cliff hanger ending at the end of each game which finally ends in the last one.

It has a brand new look for PS2. More free roam than ever and Lara has the look like she has in the Tomb Raider movie. Lara can also take a leaf out of Solid Snakes book and sneek up behind enemys and snap their neck!

Any more news on these games that anyone has to share?

I'll have a go of this new game when it released if I can, but I doubt I'll be won over by this tomb raider title. Plus it has pretty strong competition from other games including Dues Ex, MGS2 and Headhunter, which are similar in terns of gameplay.

Here's some info I remember from reading gamesmaster: the game is split up, as you said. Lara has been framed for the murder of her mentor Von Croy and she has to clear her name. But the actual game will be split into three. The first part will be a MGS2 style game with neckbreaking and stealth. The second third will be a traditional Tomb Raider style platform game and the last thrid a hybrid action/shoot'em up type thing.

Hope that helps...

What i mean is there are four separate games all called the Angel of Darkness but they all follow the same story. At the end of each game there will be a cliff hanger ending which will then carry on in the next game and so on....

Well thats what i have read.

I prefer Fear Effect since it delivers what tomb raider can't. A good, compeeling and dark storyline, some tough and varied puzzles, a good combat system and a female lead charecter who looks like a woman.
