I'm speaking for the majority of people here although there will be some people who will moan at me!

I and many other people are fine with the fun posts about random things as they have some thought put into them and are planned just to entertain and not annoy...

BUT... Some people are just starting countless numbers of pointless topics in the hope that they are going to win a GAD. I hate to break it to you but you won't, a GAD win has to be entertaining and should actually have some thought to it. (I'm talking to you Farcks!) So posting countless numbers of posts and new topics won't result in you getting a game, you will just get banned...

There is also a sudden rise in the number of 'Gamecube is great' posts with nothing more than a sentence or two saying, 'the gamecube is the best games console ever ' (gazza guy)

I'm writing for a number of people here who actualy want a topic that they have thought about and taken time writing to be read and not to be flushed to the bottom of the forums by loads of stupid posts.
So next time you post, just think about whether it will be a benefit to the forums or will it just result in loads of people hurling abuse at you for writing a one lined post with no content.

Oh I really hope this wins me a GAD! I took ages on it! :c)

glimbrick is another offender. Just posting over and over again to win a game!

How many topics in FOG don't suck? We are left with no choice but to repond to all these console war and similar threads, since there the only one which seem to be in this forum.

I'm not going to spam and go on about how you shouldn't mock newbies and all that because its been done and you've got evey reason to. I totally agree with what you said, that all this spam puts the decent attempts to the bottom of the list, which is why it's especially annoying when I do not have access to FOG Prime. There have been alot of new JATs and Newbies who go on and on about GameCube and its really getting annoying now.

The same thing happened when the X-Beast came out, and probably when the PS-Poo came out too

And I also am fed-up with the number of "I got my GameCube!!" posts! :P

I was a newbie a few days ago and I can safely say I didn't/don't make any topics which are a few sentences long unless I'm asking a question which I do in the longest thread anyway. I got loads of respect for not making poor posts and 'spamming', so I can understand why you guys get annoyed with loads of 2 sentence topics like 'ps2 sucks'. I have stayed here and will continue to post becase I think its a really cool place to be. You learn moe about games and have a wider view on games. Some newbie's are really intellent posters and set their sights on becoming a reglar. I think the main rason why they post so many topics is because they think they will get a GAD. Before I started posting on these forums I read most of the GAD winners and got an idea of what a GAD win needs, and I won :). I find it fun to write about ideas of games and the good and bad points. The newbie's just need to make thier posts a bit longer and more detailed. :)
