Sega have quit the console market for good. They are now only developers. They learned the hard way (like microsoft will) that it takes more than fancy marketing and overpriced hardware to be the best.
They now just develop games. Which is why sonic's new home is on GC and GBA.

i wouldn't say they'd go DOWN , xbox maybe , but ps2 is too strong to beat , (this time round) dont worry though , once the gamecube as eaten a big whole in sony's ps2 user base (by getting them too buy gamecubes) once ps3 and the next ninty console come out , it will be a much closer war.
Microsoft will still be there , with it's Ybox's , or Zbox's but to be honest it wont ever succeed to the heights of nitnendo and sony. Maybe even sega will come back, who knows ???
