"Do you have X-Box games?"
"X-Box? What's that?"
"It's a games console"
"Oh right, you mean the Gamecube. Yep, the games are just over.."
"No, the X-Box.". In desparation, he adds, "Microsoft?"
"Oh, well I don't know about that. I didn't realise there were any more of these silly things. You'll have to ask the entertainment department, they're the experts."
And so we follow his plight to the "entertainment department", where he asks whether they stock any "silly things".
"Do you have X-Box games?
"What?"
"X-Box games?"
"Oh, you mean that Microsoft thing? No, we've got the Game Cube in from yesterday though, the games are over there, and we have the console with two con......"
As well as general misunderstanding about gaming, someone in woolworths has either forgotton about the X-Box, or else decided not to sell it. Perhaps it is sold in larger stores, but this does seem to indicate that someone thinks that the GC is more lucrative.
Only time will tell whether they're right.......
Anyway, the woolworths here still doesn't sell X-Box games, and I'm not asleep (I'll check later). Very strange indeed......

They have had boxes out a long time, mainly to advertise, but most shops don't have any left that aren't pre-ordered.
I got my Cube on lauch and my friend got his today, but only after vigourous searching and he didn't have any choice of colour.

Does a box mean a console? I'm wondering whether to go there and get one.
Oh and if there are eight GC console boxes on the shelves, does that mean they are in stock or just advertising?
In Cardiff city centre, there's only a small music shop by Woolworths.
Apparently, the bloke in charge of the region sold the wrong store when he sold the main Woolworths store in cardiff, and later resigned, but we are now stuck with either a long walk or a small woolworths which hardly sells anything anyway.
