You know the interactive desktop "game" where you raise some form of animal? Anyone who's ever "played" Catz or Dogz knows the type of thing I'm talking about. Please note I use play in the loosest sense of the word. I am yet to discover the enjoyment in beating a virtual dog about your desktop with a mouse. It gets annoying. My sister has this virtual cat thing, and it's constantly running across the screen when I'm trying to concentrate on the finer points of the Tudor Reformation or something equally dull. It's OK though, I beat it with the mouse and it runs off. There must be some way to liven up this game. Surely only someone who's got an IQ of 2 would enjoy this. I can think of some more enjoyable game which would be funny, and educational too!

MPz

I would find this amusing. Turn on the computer to be greeted by a sad looking chap in a suit. Or some ugly woman in a suit. Basically, there is someone in a suit. You can choose the party. Then you programme it's political viewpoints. You can also beat it. With some form of blunt weapon. Maybe it could talk.

"Please may I have some food?"

"Have you repealed the Act imposing tuition fees?"

"No."

"Bad Labour MP!"

Then you slap it with the aforementioned blunt weapon until it retreats into it's Whitehall kennel or repeals said Act. I think this would rock. I'd buy it. Maybe you could get an add-on for actual MPs. Think about how amsuing it would be to chase John Prescott around the desktop with a water gun, yelling "Run fat man, run!", or make Iain Duncan-Smith less grey by beating him with the blunt weapon. You could maybe toy around with their features. Perhaps, with the correct technology, you could make Cheri Blair look normal. Let it be a dream for the future.

There's many different games possibilities playing off the hatred most people have for our beloved government. Like a first-person shooter. Like Jedi Knight II. Twould be amusing. A long time ago in a parliament far away...You could call it Black Rod. Not only is is vaguely relavent, but it sounds FPSish. You run amok, gradually fighting your way up from local government level. You kill the Local Council (these could be BNP) after besting lowly civil servant grunts. Then there's the racing level, where you chase after John Prescott in one of his Jags. After you've killed the fat man, you can enter the London Assembly, facing the Usurper, Ken Livingstone. Watch out for Green Party Snipers. As you approach the final levels of the game you enter Whitehall searching for the elusive Cabinet Secretary. It'd be a mix of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Halo. The final level might be tracking the Cabinet through the House of Commons. Here you would pick up a new close-combat weapon, the ceremonial mace. You pick off the Cabinet members one by one, and then it's on to the final level at No 10. There's a surprise twist in the game - once you've brained Tony Blair with the gun that fires depleted slugs of MMR jabs, you get a shock as Alistair Campbell is revealed as the brains behind the Evil Government of Evil. It's alright though, you find spin-proof armour on top of Nelsons Column and defeat him using Prescott's Jag. I'd buy this game.

It would have cool multi-player options as well. You could play in a team, with your mates taking the form of Conservative leaders such as Maggie Thatcher, Iain Smith and Duncan Smith. This part would be like Counter-Strike, and you could get online clans that fight to be Black Rod champion, with tags such as [Whipz]. A new online dialect could evolve - "Lib Dems 0//N J00!" Then there's the multiple add-on options.

The 80s - Fight as Neil Kinnock and Tony Been, determined to stem the tide of capitalist evil before yuppies take over the world, masterminded by an evil woman made of solid iron.

The Grey Tide - Form up the New Labour ranks to combat the spread of monotony and uniformity spilling from No 10 under John Major.

Politics made fun. MPz and Black Rod would be top sellers. Perfect marketing strategy. Now to contact Rare. Surely they'll make it multi-platform to increase voter turnout?

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
