I did have a go on the tamagotchi a few years back, shortly after they were released. I got mine up to about 28 days, without cheating (altering the date).

I also printed out a new background for the screen. Nice little graveyard scene. It ruled.

Get a GameBoy Advance or Dreamcast from SR - they're only about £70 with games!

With the GBA you'll get the chance to play games anywhere at anytime (providing you have batteries) and you'll only be able to play the likes of Golden Sun and Mario Kart Super Circuit on one of these!

And if you get a Dreamcast then you'll just be different.
And you'll also be able to get the likes of Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure in their true forms, rather than as GameCube ports.
You also can't get the 2 Shenmue games on any other format, and i'm sure Grix will reccomend Skies of Arcadia to you! And there are some other decent RPG's you can get for it, while it's also currently the ONLY console that is ready to take home and play on-line!

The choice is yours... :)

How about a brand spanking new (yesterday anyway)...

Copy of the LOndon ONLY newspaper, the Evening Standard for a pretty good discount price of 30p?

it'll keep you interested for a few hours..

Get a Gamecube because it's cheap and the easiest way to get Skies of Arcadia and you trust my judgement.

LOL...You've just reminded me of the best thing.... When they were all the craze... my pal had one and it was like 60days old(thats supposed to be pretty good) and we were all getting pretty sick of it...so one assembly...we killed it to death.
She went bloody mental.
Well worth it though.

I know, GameCube is crap because it's made by that babyish company Nintendo.
