with nintendo moving from carts to discs. will this mean nintendo suffering the same staggering piracy problem that has dogged sony.
i am aware that nintendos discs are completely diffrent to sonys
but i picked up a demo for gamecube the other day a replica gamecube disc (i.e. tiny) and it was for my pc if gamecube games are pc readable how long before they r pirated

The mini disks can be copied because they are only Mini CD's that have been around for ages. The GC disks are curved so they should be able to be copied without the new equipment and disks that only panosonic make!

they can already be copied! my cousin in canada can take mini disks otu put them in his computer, burn them, put them back in the case and take out the disk he has copied it on to out of his hard drive! if you can do it with mini disks you can do it with gamecube games! i might have to pay my cousin a visit with a borrowed verion of ssbm!

Get your facts right! The demo disk is only simular in size, and nothing else. The disks dont play in a PC. The GC disks are curved so they cant be copied. Nintendo had piracy in the forfront of the design plan when it came to gamecube. This is one of the reasons they didnt want to move from carts to Disk's the first time!
