Where are they?
How many of you have walked into a shop a discovered a Gamecube is playable?
If so, what shop was it?

1/2pint says there are no demo consoles out! Rubbish! Some of you have played one. I want to play one, but it's a bit late now.
So, everyone, tell me of the playable GC's you have seen or encountered, just to show that Nintendo have bothered.

I haven't actually encountered a Gamecube pod like the Xbox ones but I have played on a Gamecube in Dixons, Queens Street Cardiff. They purchased an import console from Japan in January. But now they have two playable European consoles their onr with Luigi's Mansion and the other hass Rogue Leader. I've only actually played Luigi's Mansion and that is very impressive, great graphics and a great control system. But the Rogue Leader console always has a number of people in line waiting to play on it. I haven't the patience to wait around I'm just going to buy my own console with a copy of both titles.

I know they definitely had them around the PS2 launch. Not sure about the Xbox, didn't go in one at the time.

I've played on a GC in Game in Edinburgh. It was multi-booting and you could choose between Luigi, Waverace, Rogue Leader and something else: might explain (some of) the cost. Good games, though!

Look in somewhere like Virgin.
I went in there on Friday and saw a man playing Luigi's Mansio.
I didn't see anything about having to 'pay to play' or anything, and there was also no playable X-box!! :O
But the real problem was that that guy was addicted and wasn't gunna give up anytime soon! :(
