Icarus is the guy that was trapped on an island with his dad but his dad made some wings for them to escape made of feathers and wax his dad told him not to fly too near to the sea as he would crash and not to fly to near the sun as the wax that held his wings together would melt.
They set off and Icarus grew more and more confident and started to do more and more daring things despite his fathers warnings he flew too near to the sun and the wax melted and he fell into the sea and died.
