It has recently been announced that Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 is in production. So now is the time to speculate. What would you like to see in Rollercoaster Tycoon 2? What improvements need to be made to make the game more enjoyable?

Oh yes! a level editor would be ace, It would make the game last loads longer, and make it more fun to play.

If you want a good sequel to a game make it different in a way that people know in RTC's case it should give you the opportunity to design you own type of roller coaster. Not with HTML + JAVa Mumbo jumbo ( no dis to anyone who understands it), but with ease to create weird and wacky roller coasters. Who knows the next time you go to download a track design u could be getting the "Love Coaster" or stuff like dat
Got RCT and Added Atrac. Pak last Christmas. Addictive at the beggining but after completing a few levels they just get tedious. This is mainly for people who are really into Rollercoasters like my mate Nick he's entering the competion for the best rollercoaster built and believe me he's got a big chance of winning! RTC is really enjoyed with all the add-ons and the fact you get more Rcoasters, stalls and scenery. This really adds the excitement of Theme Parks. P.S Think of naming a stall/Rcoaster with a humorous name and go to what the guests think about it!!!!!
Got this game on budget and I advise anyone else to buy it like me not from a mate trying to get a few bob!

I prefer Rollercoaster Tycoon to Theme Park. I think its because of two things really.
The first is that the rides are all real, they've been copied from real-life rides so it makes you feal like your making a proper theme park. There is also tons of rollercoaster to choose from, the normal classic wooden rollercoaster, the usual steele rollercoaster, the standing up rollercoaster the list just goes on. There are tons of other rides aswell, so you can play around allot with making the perfect theme park.
The second reason I like this game is because of the tasks you have to complete. There are a host of tasks that you have to complete to advance throught the game and open new lots. These include getting a certain amount of people in your park within 3 years or reinvent an exsisting park and increase its profit. These tasks present some real challenges and they are the kind of challenges which makes mangement games so fun.
You could probably pick this game up now on budget which is more than enough reason to try it out.

Making the rollercoasters is the best bit I think. The problem is, if you make the rollercoasters too scary, no one goes on it. I love the go kart tracks. It's worth purchasing and I would expect it is dirt cheap now.

How good is the original? I've only played Theme Park INC you see. So how does it compare to that? I've heard good things about it, but I also enjoy Theme Park INC very much.
Finally a sequel. The origanal Rollercoaster Tycoon was a great management game, and real challenging. I just hope Chris Sawyer is on board to make the sequel, and this time it isn't going to be another blatant rip off of the tycoon series.
