The bell finally rang and Little Jimmy rushed out of school and home. He burst through his front door and looked for his package on the stairs...it wasn't there. He checked his bedroom and the kitchen, but no. He asked his mum if there had been any deliveries but there hadn't been.
He checked all around the back of the house to see if it had been put through the fence, he even looked around the front door to see if a Missed Delivery card had been left...but no.
Little Jimmy's stomach tightened. He checked his watch. it was only 4:30, it could still arive in the next hour...
He sat in front of the front door and waited, jumping up to peer out the window every time he heard a car. The minutes crawled by, dragging hours with them until it was 5:30 and Little Jimmy began to cry.
Two weeks later, Little Jimmy's GameCube arrived. It was a shame he couldn't enjoy it - he had committed suicide the week before.
The thing I liked about that story is that the mum had been home all day, and not at work. No doubt in the kitchen washing up, and scrubbing the bogs upstairs and down! :D
Just what you need if you don't wanna miss the post, and also wanna nice clean home to come back to after a hard day's work!! ;D
But Little Jimmys sholud not kill themselves - they are not zealots.
