This time last year SEGA announced it's RETIREMENT from the wide world of gaming. But who's gonna follow? As Ann Robinson would say "Who's ship is sinking? Who's hopping the three legged race?

Ok, so i did exaggerate the RETIREMENT thing. What i was meaning to say was, which gaming company will follow SEGA in halting console production?

1) In a few months, Sega will be the second biggest publishers on the planet.

2) Sega completely stormed this years Edge awards, winning Publisher of the year, having 2 of the top 3 games and coming 1st and 2nd in the innovative game catagories. Far from dead.

3) All 3 consoles are guaranteed to survive. They've all be out for over 6 months, and they're all doing very well.

None of these consoles are going to fail simply because the companys behind them. Nintendo still have a huge following of hardcore nintendo fans and also the appeal to parents buying for little kids. The PS2 has some of the best games and Microsoft are one of the biggest companies in the world, and it's console has the best specs. So you're all wrong, none of them will fail.

That over priced black box with a green blob of snot in the middle and anvil's as controllers will not sell. Forcing Microsoft out of the console market leaving room for another Games console.

Question is, who will fill this gap?

Who are X-box? What console did they make? Was it any good?

:-D

I personally think that Microsoft will be next. There's already rumours of their console losing it.

Exactly! Sega are still bringing out some top games for all systems, just because their console is down, doesn't mean they are out.
