The d-pads alright............I know what you mean about the analogue jumpiness on any fighting game - its very annoying.
the Z button could be used as a switch between special and normal moves?
quite a few of the fighters for GC will come with their own pad. SNK2, for example.
They will probably just make a mode where you pull off moves easily by just flicking one of the sticks. Takes away the skill required for most beat em ups though...
You mean the camera analogue ? But that wouldn't be very well positioned to use when you consider the buttons are right next to it. I find analogues pretty crappy for beat em up games. One slight bad angle and your character jumps all over the place when all you wanna do is block or something.
they will prbably use the c- pad instead of the d-pad for games tike street fighter!
I'm hoping for Conkers BFD to make an appearance on GC. Has to be one of my favourite platform games. ;-)
I probably stand alone here, but playing the GC, I hate the D pad on the controller ! Its way too small. Its not so bad for Rogue Leader when your just using it to give out orders. But for games like beat em ups I can see it being a real nightmare. Especially if theres Street Fighter 2 style moves to do.
