I just saw it on the side of a bus and thought it good of me to tell you all.

Lord of the Rings should never have been a PG.
As well all remember, the main Uruk-hai guy was initially stabbed. then he pulled himself along the sword before having his arm chopped off. Then he was decapitated with an unhealthy amount of black sludge spewing from his severed neck. PG? Me thinks not. 12? Me think so.
And Sean Bean died as well. That would take a lot to get over. Possibly an 18 due to Sean Bean's death. Tragic. :-D

Why did the BBFC give the Phantom Menace a U rating? As we all remember, Darth Maul got cut in half with light saber near the end of the film.

It says 'U(tbc)' and when that happens, it never changes rating. EVER! :-D
Actually, it's not been rated yet. Could be a....gasp....PG. They should rate it 18. That'd be funny.
