Sadly it appears that the two games that were added the other day (NBA & Azurik) are the last of the bunch.

Obviously don't want to sound ungrateful but I was hoping for a few more.

Oh well, Rallisport and Amped it is then....

Well for you its a great offer cause like you said, you didn't get any games with your X-Box. For me its pretty crap. I bought my X-Box on launch day with Halo, PGR, DOA3, Amped, Wreckless and Blood Wake. I also bought 3 other controllers so I had 4 in total, a memory card, link cable and an advanced scart lead.

So if you put yourself in my shoes and look at that list again you'd be left with a pretty bitter taste in your mouth. I've ended up ordering Blood Wake and the NBA game. Basically I was so gutted when I looked at the final list that I decided to cancel a couple of games that I had reserved at a shop and took my Wreckless and Blood Wake as a trade in towards a Gamecube and Rogue Leader.

It takes like a month or so for your games to arrive so even though a game like Halo will no doubt get a little more on trade in, I want to carry on playing that game so I just took in Blood Wake and ordered a replacement. I'll give NBA a try when I get it, but if its crap then I'll trade it in.

I also found out that Crash had been put back now too so my day was just getting better and better. I went to Toys R Us and decided to give in and play Rogue Leader. Being a big Star Wars fan I was avoiding the game cause I didn't want to buy a console just for one game, even if it is the nuts. After I figured that I could cancel a few games I had reserved and stuff, I decided to grab a GC and Rogue Leader.

Plus the bonus of having both consoles is that I won't miss any decent games unless they're exclusive to the PS2, but then most of the decent games on it are going to X-Box and GC anyway.

Anyway, bottom line is that I felt pretty screwed over, especially with the amount of money I dished out on launch day. I still love my X-Box, but can't help but feel a little stung by Microsoft. It basically feels like the more you bought, the bigger the kick in the teeth you get as a reward.

Is Jet Set Radio Future on the list? If so, why not order that? Just like the DC version, it's a fantastic game.

I have to dis-agree with the majority of the people in here, I got an X-BOX 1 week last thursday with no-games so the list is amazing, I chose HALO and RALLISPORT CHALLENGE, the only problem I had was choosing which ones!

I got an e-mail last Monday saying please allow 21 days from sending the form for the games to arrive, not bad really.

Well, that makes it a definite no-no for me then. I soon got sick of the tricks on SSX and usually went just for the race win, so thanks for the warning. I thought the demo was just slow and tedious because it was restricted to tricks - but now I know that's all the game is, I can forget about it totally.

But can I? The only three good games on that list are the ones people are likely to have bought with their Xbox anyway, because there are so few good games around for the machine at the moment. I could choose the duff games, but then who the hell would want them anyway?

Six weeks on and still only three - maybe four - games worth having. At first it sounded like a good move from MS, giving away free games as compenstation; but with the games on offer, I'm still left feeling screwed.

They had a glorious chance to redeem themselves after the sudden price-drop, but in my view they've blown it by offering a few good games which people most likely already have, and padding it out with all the crap they can't shift.

I most certainly am NOT happy at this moment in time.

My mind is pretty much made up. I'll almost certainly choose the games I already have - Halo, Munch's and PGR - and trade them in unopened at Game for money off of some of the many PS2 games coming out. I may as well get something worth having out of MS.

i do agree that we should of been able to pick the 2 games that we want even if they don't come out until June, eg: Buffy, which has been put back until June (just to say if the reason it isin't coming out until June is becuase they're improving it then that's all right with me). basicly i'm saying they should have all the games that are available from now until the end of June because we've already paid for them in our way, haven't we? the only thinf we get is a special discount off a control pad

Was waiting to open the door and have Bill Gates kick me square in the balls when I saw that list - just to add to the feeling that came over me.

Of course its better than nothing, although not much better. Basically all they've done is piled the good games that have already sold to the people that wanted them along with the smelly piles of tosh that knowone will buy. Yeah cheers Bill.

Of course they didn't have to give us anything, but I think we all know the result that would have happened if Microsoft had told us early buyers where to stick it.

Don't get me wrong I love my X-Box, but I can't help but feel pretty bitter at the fact that people that went out and bought it today have saved £100 or at least got the choice of 2 games they want while we get the scummy scraps off the plate so to speak.

Although some people will be happy with their choices, I certainly won't be running to the door every morning to greet the postman.....

I can't help but feel very disappointed. I'll probably just claim two decent games and try and sell them to someone else.

--IM COMPLETELY AGREE!!! We were told the 'full list' on the 26th... and we only get 2 extra games for the full list!!!! Its a disgrace, why dont we get a chocie to choose any launch title out at the moment? Microsoft have really annoyed me and im not pleased at all. I want a refund, but we are not allowed it!

I agree that Amped is a fantastic game, but i prefer SSX Tricky. It has the best of both worlds (Racing AND Tricks) as well as being far more playable.

Amped has some brilliant features such as the Pro challenges, sponsors and the photographers. However, with Amped, after a while you reach a point where the game becomes very difficult. I like a challenge as much as anyone but it starts to spoil the fun after a while.

It seems like one of those 'Catch 22' games where you cant do the levels cos the players stats aren't high enough, yet you cant increase the players stats without completing the levels.

Me and my mate were completing the challenges 1 by 1. When you do a challenge such as impressing a sponsor, it can take several attempts. By the time you achieve the 'Amped' rating we just couldn't be bothered with the game any more, so we'd always put Halo or Tony Hawk on instead.

I'm getting Amped because it's fantastic.

I borrowed it off a mate for a weekend and just sat and played for 4 hours straight, which mau not seem a lot to you lot, but I hardly ever play games for that long.

Wookiee, if you're worried about it not getting played, like SSX, don't worry, it's completely different. Amped is tricking only, no racing involved whatsoever. I've played both SSX and Amped, and Amped is far superior. What have you go to lose if you claim it and don't like it? You could always sell it like you're thinking of doing anyway.

Not sure about the other game. I'm thinking either DoA3, or Rallisport. I'm not a huge fan of beat 'em ups, but they are always fun for a bit of post-pub multiplayer. As for Rallisport - it looks like a good game, but I already have PGR. Do I really need another drving game? Especially when I'm DEFINATELY getting grand Prix 4 in a couple of months...
