Ive fed them with a load of crap, at how it will make the internet go faster, therefore allowing me to do my "Homework" more efficiently... (Yeah right!)
Anyway, theyve said if I can find out all the information about getting it then I can have it. :-D
So im asking you, could you give me some decent information on Broadband, costs, and how its set up etc.
We're using Eurobell at the moment, so I think we'd have to stick with that, rather than going for BT.....
So any information you can give me, Id be very grateful.
Thanks
David

On my Alcatel modem, there's one thick lead, which then splits into two - the USB lead and the phone lead. The phone lead is exactly the same as normal phone leads...just green.
I've just had a go, it's a bit different to TO and UT.
How do you connect back up through a dial-up, of the machinchas you down as being online all the time??? Is is easy to change back???
Got 1mbit a few days ago. gone from 30gb > 500mb free on an 80gb hard disk...I'll start backing some stuff up, but it's a damn sweet connection. The cap really is 1024kbit, which is annoying (NTL 512k cap is actually at 600, allowing downloads up to 75k/sec). This always hits its peak speed, 128k/sec...downloaded CS 1.4 full mod + upgrade before I went to school :D
£50 is fairly pricy considering it isn't actually twice the speed, but this should come down fairly soon..512k was priced high for a while. Anyway, I'm not paying, so I can't complain..
Got caught in the standard NTL system, early adopters...without any service for a while, then back down to 512k, but worth it when it came..256 upstream is nice too. Shame it's not available everywhere, but NTL do offer a 128k service now as well for £15/month...not bad, as some people are still paying that for dialup, and this is always on and twice the speed..
