This is mainly for Mystique and Goatboy's benefit but anyone else that want's to laugh at a ruff picture of me can do, that is unless Darkus changes it for a camel or something as it's hosted on his site.

You need darn thick strings to tune low or they flap around. I use Hybrid Slinky's (any ideas where my name came from?) and tune them to C#, that's deep enough for me!

Epiphones are well built. My SG is an Epi but i upgraded the pickups, they cost £70 each but twas well worth it. I had a look at the Gothics but they have a strange matt covering which finger prints show up on really badly. Love the 12th fret marker though!

I love tuning down so low, putting distortion on, turning tone down and making the windows shake. So much power in one guitar and one amp. I got a lovely mex fender strat. Maple neck, midnight blue colour. I love it so! I want a Gothic SG! Maybe just the epiphone one though as gibbos are v v expensive and the only difference is the pick ups. They say epiphones are built just as well as gibsons, er anyway i'm just waffling now...
