I am a Liverpool supporter. However, i think Emile Heskey is load of pants. Call me contradictory if you want, but I don't think he is worth £11m or even £11. He is always one of the biggest blokes on the field, but when challenged by someone he floats away like a balloon - something wrong there surely.

So here begins the discussion - is Emile Heskey really a feather? Seriously, every time he is on the ball, a slight gust of wind blasts him in to Row Z. Emile Heskey - verdict... pants.

What does everyone else think?

PS. I'm aware he jut scored a hat-trick, so don't bother mentioning it.

I still remember the first time I saw him play, it was in some cup final against Middlesbrough and I couldn't help but think to myself if Man Utd bought him he could be one of the greatest English players of all time. This was, of course, before I noticed his wonderful display of diving. Maybe he wasn't worth £11m but if he had crosses from Becks and Giggs every match he'd score enough goals to warrent the price tag. Maybe we'll see a whole new Liverpool side once Jamie Redknapp returns (although, and you don't have to agree with this if you don't want to, while I'd love to play for Liverpool I'd much rather sit at home with Louise playing naughty nurse!). Personally I think Liverpool should keep Heskey and give him time to come into the good form he had before he arrived at Anfield, but they should also buy a forward who can hold the ball up like Yorke does at Man Utd, they must have to money to buy a player of that quality, maybe it's time they spent some more of it. What do you think?

As another Liverpool supporter, I think Heskey still has a lot to do in order to win the fans over. There is no way he is worth the £11m we paid for him, and he will always be under pressure to perform well with that price tag. He can become a good asset to our current squad, but I cant see him getting a place in the team reguarly once that Fowler is fully fit and partners Owen up front. The one bad thing about Heskeys game is the way he acts like Bambi on ice whenever he gets near the box. One day he will be sent off for cheating and it will be his own fault.
I reckon he could become a good player if he just got on with his game and started to score more goals, but at the moment unfortunately he may end up being the biggest £11m flop ever.
