So you've found out the news, you think great ngc for only £129!
WRONG
Although that's what nintendo say it's unlikely that's exactly what the price will be. 129 is a conversion of the euros price before tax like vat is taken into much account. What's more it's a rrp so shops can charge you what they like. Special reserve have a good deal at £139.99, but large hight street stores are likely to charge u more. Before the price in euros was about £150 but look what happened, the shops charged £170! Also the stores don't like the rrp cos it leaves for a small profit margen, if a store sells a gc at the rrp, take up the offer as your unlikely to see it again. If they don't make much on the gc then the games will cost more so the stores can make up for small profits.
What i'm saying is, yes great news BUT not is all that may seem.

If you want to know what it really could mean, read "The Eve of the War" in Fog Chat.

N64 for £364 at launch? You were ripped off mate! It was released for £250.

I intend to pay no more than £129.99 for my GameCube now that Nintendo have said that's what it should cost. However I'm going to see what bundles surface in the next week or so before I part with my deposit.

What a MUPPET!

Your complaining about the price when it's just dropped by £30!

ARRRRRRRRrrrrrrrr! People like YOU are really starting to annoy me now. "Oh NO" the consoles not gonna cost £129, "SHOOCK HORROR", it's gonna cost five pounds more than that! "OOOOoooooo" Plus the fact you get a free scart lead.

STOP moaning about the LOWER price and just buy a Cube and be happy about it! If you really want to spend that £30 you can happily donate it to the Cooky student fund!

They were chargin that before...

There were the cheapest initially though. Originally they were £149.99.

It will take a few days perhaps for everybody to change thier prices.
