Dont get me wrong, i'll be the first person to tell you that the Xbox has some of the best and most revolutionary games and that we are promised that it will bring a new dimension to online gaming in the near future. That last statement has suddenly given me a feeling of deja-vu... Sega Dreamcast anyone. Sega's console was far superior in power to its competitors, it had some very good games and offered online gaming. A year or two down the line and the Dreamcast and its games are being sold for next to nothing with production grinding to a halt some time ago. A friend of mine, who used to own a Dreamcast, was looking for a new console recently and although he believed the Xbox to be the superior console he opted for a PS2. Why?? He didn't want to risk making the same mistake twice.
Basically, what i'm trying to say is that it doesn't matter if the Xbox has the best hardware and software in the entire world... it's fate lies quite simply with whether or not it rakes in enough profits. If it doesn't, then the well-being of computer gamers will be the last thing on the minds of the Microsoft executives as they decide to pull the plug.
What do you all think?
Still, no matter what the price, the games remain the same. I'm not going to buy one unless more games I want to play start to appear on it.

But will you buy it, having already played it?
I won't.
Same as I won't buy the improved Deus Ex on the PS2, because I played it on PC two years ago.
If you will get it, then no problem. I just personally don't see the point in buying it again on another platform when it won't be much different.
Similar thing with Driver - I loved it on the PS1, but the PC version just didn't work for me. Games with driving sections never do work on a PC, for me.
> Your all fools MUAHAHAHAH! Buy a PC! they 0wn everything!!!
*hits head repeatedly with stick!*
Didnt think just shouted! what are you typing to post this message!? erm.... yeah just ignore me!
Has a Sunshine bus crashed on the info-superhighway near here or something?
But I have an advantage even over him. Because if Xbox should

True.
But then I played GTA3 and Knockout Kings on the PS2, that was it.
Metal Gear Solid 2 left me bored stupid.
So even if the sun falls from the sky and Microsoft abandon the Xbox?
I'll still not have lost anything as GTA3 is coming to the PC.
Bigger and better than the PS2 version.
So I win both ways.
Because I rule.
