That's the equivalent of paying £65 per PS2/Xbox game.

Good on Nintendo for dropping the price. Before it's even launched.
That shows confidence in a product.
Hell, the GBA is more than half the price of a Gamecube.

It's odd though, the Xbox drops it's price and red-faced Ninty's start peeing in their nappies about how that means the Xbox is failing, despite decent sales figures at full price.

But when Nintendo announce they're dropping the price, before it's even launched, that suddenly means that Nintendo aren't worried.

I think it's a heck of an act for Nintendo, and one that will surely make sales jump high.

Damn. There I was, starting to come around to the idea of parting with a couple hundred quid for an XBox, and now the GC price plummets.

£130 for a console? Even if most of the games suck, that's gotta be worth checking out hasn't it? There are still going to be a fair few decent ones. As I've got friends with XBoxes, I won't miss out on too much there either.


I have only one question to ask myself.

How can I justify to myself paying £70 extra, just so I can play Halo linkup...
