Does Gaming Really Bring Happiness And joy or is it just another escape route away from depression and loneliness ?
Usually when i feel down i go to friends house's for them to cheer me up and have never relied on gaming to make me feel better .
Of course people usually game for boredom but i am not talking about that!

Don't think I've used games to try and make myself happy, just seems a byproduct of playing them. Multiplayer games with friends/family are probably best at generating happiness too and that's probably more to do having a laugh with them then the game itself.
playing locoroco is enough to cheer anyone up

I remember beating a pig in some Nintendo game, the name of which escapes me. This was so, so, so much fun that I have never really experienced happiness playing games ever since.
My favourite games of the moment is "Google Adwords", but it's more difficult to beat than the pig.

When I play Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball, I'm quite happy.
