I just played on a gamecube at stevenage yeserday.
These are my thoughts before and after Gamecube:

Before:-
The console will be about the size of a lunchbox.
Purple will look stupid. Luigis Mansion will be interesting.
The controller will be abit to small.
The D-pad and C-stick will be hard to reach.
The Z button will be hard to reach.

After:-
WOW.
The system is smaller than you imagine.
The controller perfectly fit's in your hands.
The C-stick is very eaisly reached.
The D-pad is eaisly reached.
The Z button is eaisly reachable.
Purple accutaly looks good.
Luigis Mansion is a load of lame cr@p.
Rouge Leader is ace.
The cheesy bit at the start of the Rouge Leader demo is hilarious.

Has anyone else played it?

*In the style of Swiss Toni from the Fast Show*

What you have to remember boys and girls is that playing computer games is much like making love to a beautiful women!

First you turn it on, then you sensuously plug at all the little buttons till you can finally say that you are spent.

Well, Luigi's Mansion was the top selling game for launch in Japan and probably in the US.

In the absence of Mario, Luigi is the main console shifter. Making sure all the orginal Ninties stay with Nintendo.

The thing I find is that wherever I go, the shops are all running the more "traditional" Nintendo games on the 'cube.

I know it'll do those well, because Nintendo always have. What I want to see are the 'different' games - Star Wars, Resi etc.

The shops are reinforcing the image that Nintendo are trying to move away from.

The X-box controller is like a brick with little bits of plastic sticking out of it. And when you hold the controller it feels like a brick. And it feels like a brick. And it looks like a brick. It smells like a brick. By GOD, IT IS A BRICK!!!
