In this project I’m aiming to make a detailed spreadsheet of a teachers mark book and also the teachers register. I am going to set about in tackling the problem at hand by making a list of all the people who are in my Information Technologies A-level class along with the names of people within my class, I am also going to include marks and scores I which each pupil has achieved. This will be set out in the form of a list with each mark situated next to the name of the pupil the mark or score is associated with. The information is quite complex and needs to be sorted through efficiently and into a more readable and understandable form.
The Current System
The current system, which is used, is not efficient enough as it is all just stored on pieces of paper, which is very insufficient because it isn’t that well organized, as it is all stored on multiple sheets of paper sheets for the register and many other sheets for the marks of each pupil in the class. Another reason about why also it isn’t very organized is the layout of the current system as it isn’t very neat
8 bit:
C64 - Mayhem in Monsterland
Sinclair - Treasure Island Dizzy
NES - Super Mario Bros. 3
Game Boy - Super Mario Land 2
Master System - Sonic The Hedgehog
Best 8-bit - Commodore 64. Years and years older than it's console competitors and it's best games both look and sound better than them while costing about 85% less.
16 bit:
Amiga - Flashback
Megadrive - Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Super Nintendo - Batman Returns
Best 8-bit - Megadrive - So what if the SNES could rotate a background and produce wave synthesis? The megadrive's better resolution and more than 2x faster processor more than made up for having no trivial mosaic effects when a level starts and generally awful wave synthesis. And besides, the MD DOES do wave synthesis on the title screen for Toy Story, play it and see.
