Yes, I'd do that. I enjoy teaching people how to write web pages. Don't ask why, I just do.

JavaScript isn't something you'd learn in a few days. There are 30 tutorials on htmlgoodies, each designed so that you read ONE per day, thus learning JS in a full month.

I use http://htmlgoodies.earthweb.com/tutors/js for my JavaSCript problems, but if you're not happy with it I might e-mail you and teach you, if you'd want me to.
