I have broadband now... so damn good.
So I thought I'd download lots and lots of songs... I have and now I am dry of idea.
So now is your chance to convert me to some of your favourite bands... go on.

Hum...I watched top gun, and have been playing that without thinking for a while now...excellent. Anyway, I point people at http://ov.2y.net/music/ for Satch, Vai, Johnson, Malmsteen, guitar type stuff. I'll continue to wave my little "guitars rule" flag, most of my playlist seem to be one of those 4 now..
I love that song.
Slayer "Skeletons of Society"
Stevie Wonder "Superstition"
They Might Be Giants "S-E-X-X-Y"
Dr John "Right Place, Wrong Time"
Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover
and especially:
Joe Satriani - Borg Sex
It's genius, trust me.

He got me 'If You Still Hate Me' too :-) I'm listening now and its better. more mental :-D
The bit before the POD style thing goes in again (grrr) sounds a bit like Poison The Well who are actually some of the best melodic hardcore makers around apart from Snapcase of course :-)
Ill Nino are actually pretty popular to most people who know their less 'nu' metal. Like this song better though, would be cool if that POD style chorus weren't there.
And it's good to see someone else has actually heard of Ill Nino!! :)
I am listening to it now as I write this so I can give an opinion. You say its not nu-metal but still there are decks being scratched everywhere and the chorus (i think it is) sounds exactly like POD...which I don't like.
But, it's an opinon. I don't like them :-)
Sterophonics - Hand bags and the gladrags
So solid crew - haters
