Why would I want any of them? My PC allows me to play games of greater graphical quality, and in most cases, better gameplay and lastability. and if i ever want something different, well, i'm still getting decent mileage out of the greatest console of all time imo - my SNES.

I'm getting a Gamecube, because I want more games. I'm a gamer. I play games. It works.
Warcraft 3 will moist likely be my next PC game... it's been a lot dull on the PC side recently, I need more fun games.

I dunno, I cant help thinking that after a few bevvies down the pub, that sitting in a nice comfy armchair, with some snacks, more booze, and having your mates in eyes shot, close enough for you to jeer and mock at when you beat them, being close to the kitchen, and the TV (&video/DVD's), with console style titles, that have been developed in the 21st century... has got to be better than sitting at a desk with a PC, where you have to shout jeers, or stand up to see them cringe as you jest at their gaming expense or replaying the same games youve been at since the early ninties?

I'm getting me a Gamecube, becaus eyou just don't get games like appear on that console as you do on the other platforms.
To me, luigi's Mansion looks excellent, original and fun, and it has nothing comparable elsewhere.
Again it comes down to the type of games you like, and there's certainly alot to be said for the PC gamer, as it's more than just racers, beat em up's and FPS games.
