"I've done it again"

I've lost all sense of creativity that I used to think I had. I realised I'd lost it when I picked up my guitar today. As my hands slid down the neck I realised that there was something missing...a certain I don't know what. I couldn't play anything. I couldn't play any decent riffs, or any interesting chord sequences. The closest I could come was something hat sounded like The Stereophonics! 'Errr', I said to myself, and threw the guitar on the bed, 'I used to be better than this. Remember Doctor Monkey, remember all the rock you used to listen to and compare it to what you're doing now.'. I felt pretty crappy actually. I normally get this every couple of months and I normally come through smiling on the other side. Hopefully it'll all be over soon and I'll get back to writing the album that I've always wanted to do. just wish I had someone to play with :(

Listen punk, you know where a rock band is forming.
We have some riffs and in a couple of weeks we're going to a rehearsal studio (nr Southend) to play around.

Stop making excuses, grab that axe and assume the position.
The Rock Express waits for no man.

By Xmas we will own rock.

I feel like writing music for no reason at all, and with no experience at all, I'm bound to create something utterly fantastic no matter which way you look at it. No, really.

But good luck getting your creativity back. Mine goes away for long periods, only to come back with big heavy suitcases and a tan, so we get along pretty fine in the end.

I would play with you...but I've got about as much musical talent as a cow has gymnastics.

I think I'll stick to nursing my kitten back to health, but good luck anyway.
