Well some of them are rather good but there is one super games playing device out there that easily beats them all. The best is not the GC, PS2, Xbox or GBA.

The most versatile game playing machine is the thing you’re using to read this. (For you dumb people a PC [And occasionally laptop])
The PC is far superior to consoles in game play. It has many control styles, numerous controllers, 1000's of games, its versatile and has better graphics.
PC games come in all (and i mean ALL) genres. There are sporting Sims, flying games, 1st person shoot-em-ups, strategy games, online games, card games, violent games, kiddy games, control games (Sims etc) and, dare i mention... educational games.
There are even various adult games like, and even .
All in all you end up with a machine capable of playing almost any game in existence. You can of course emulate (did i spell that right) N64, Ps1 and even older games onto a PC.
Nowadays most PCs have DVD player and you can also get CD-Re Writers and create your own CDs. There are hundreds of peripherals available to a PC. Suck as special keyboards, wireless ball-less mice, joysticks, controllers, scanners, printers, extra large monitors, projectors and many more that i can't remember at the moment.
A console will only let you do a few things (play games watch dvds). Consoles are often now upgradeable but only if you buy your upgrades from the manufacturer. With a PC you can buy (from SR of course) some extra RAM or a shiny GeForce 4 graphics card. PCs are almost infinitely upgradeable with so many different programs and hardware.
So take a look under the table or where ever you put that big grey/black box that is the heart of your PC and look at it for a moment.
Inside tiny electrical currents move around along pathways and things make decisions and send different pulses of electricity around inside (I’m no expert- that’s the best I can say)
Because of all this you are able to play games and even just to be reading this. Have you actually read this?

So maybe, in the future, instead of spending £300 on a console go and buy some upgrade for your PC.
The best gaming experience you can have is the one offered to you by your PC.

Really wanna get the best GeForce 4 but its too damn expensive. Ill just have to get me a nice 19" moniter and surround sound speakers. :D

Personally speaking, not really man... If thats how you feel, then thats fair enough... Its you thats missing out on some of the most fantastic gaming experiences, not me :)

Yawn, play on a decent PC then.
The main difference between PC and Console gaming is that consoles are designed to play games/dvds only. PCs can play many more games and also get almost every game. So stuff not released on GC but released on Xbox is likely to come to PC unless it already has.

I'm a PC gamer, and I'd say PC Gaming was a completly different experience to console gaming...
