Heard on the news on the way in to work that the Xbox is to be sold at £199 now.

(Insert ill-informed market-analysis comments about the fiscal viability of Microsoft below)

How do we claim? Do you know?

I hope I've still got the receipt for my XBox...

What you lot don't seem to get is that we paid £100 more for our XBox, but we'll get £115 quid of stuff back. 2 games @ £45 ea. and 1 controller at £25 ea.

Therefore we're £15 better off than people who wait for the drop.

Fools.

Anyway, if I can I'm going to claim The Thing as one of my games. Not sure when it's out but it's going to rock!

Yeah, that £100 has made me hate Microsoft.
Instead, I'm going to throw my perfectly good console in the bin and sulk in the corner.

Wow, I'm sure angry about this whole thing.
Why Microsoft? How could you drop the price so soon? Dammit I hate you.
Boy I'm just red-faced with anger here.

*shakes head*

I DON'T CARE ONE TEENY BIT
I've spent more than £100 on DVDs this week, means nothing.

From Xbox.com (ie - the horses mouth)

'We are happy to announce that Xbox is now even greater value than ever! From 26th April 2002 you can get the Xbox experience for an estimated street price of £199 in the UK, showing long term commitment to great gaming.

As a big "THANK YOU" to everyone who bought an Xbox before 26th April we are offering, until July 1st 2002, the chance for you to get 2 games and an Xbox Controller for FREE! '

I bet you are kicking youself now Goatboy?

I bet you wish you had waited a while.

I knew there'd be a price drop but I certainly never expected one this early on.

Halo - Excellent
Rallisport Challenge - Excellent
Jet Set Radio Future - Strange, haven't really played it
Obi-Wan - Alright, not the best but haven't really played it

I'm still hammering Halo and Rallisport.
