It seems that the most flexible console, the PC is being overlooked by game creators, take Crazy Taxi, it wasn't released for PC for ages. Spy Hunter and Gran Turismo are on the Playstation and the XBox, so why not on the PC?
Is it better graphics?
Better Sound?
So why aren't games released for PC as much as they are for other gaming platforms?
Ideas anyone?
Of course Perfect Dark isn't as good as Halo, fools...*shakes head* Perfect Darks about 3 years old now, Halo is a great game, isn't the best FPS though, CS definatly beats it hands down (i've never played it), but considering how big a percentage of people in Europe do, it's not gonna be beaten easily, and it's 4 years old!

I've played Halo, read opinions in three mags, one of them an x-box mag and talked to people on this site, even in the X-box forum and the general concensus is that Halo is hype, and only an average FPS. And Halo is also to be released on PC. And Perfect Dark is almost two years old, so how can you compare the two?! LOL!

PC is the most flexible console?! WHAT?! Newsflash mate, the PC ain't no console! WHAT?! I said the PC ain't a console?! WHAT?! PCs will NEVER be as easy to play games on as a console, for the simple fact of the ever rising spec requirements and the need to upgrade every time you want to play a new game.
You don't get that with consoles, they are truly "plug and play", which the PC "claims" to be, but actually ISN'T.

Meh! Halo OWNS Perfect Dark as a console FPS! And you know it!

For startesr, the PS2 also has dolby surround 5.1 sounds, and the main reason for games taking so long to get from console to PC and vise verser in some case in the incompatabilty of the 2 platforms, and with the likes of PC progression, games have to be toned down for slower PC's, some newer console games will not run on PC in the same visual bliss on a low end PC. Also, the games market is a difficult thing to crack, with more console gamers then PC gamers, the profit margins may be too small and so computer games developers choose not to go for the PC (even though they still cost a packet on the PC).
Anyway, consoles competing with PCs? heh.

Computers are used for so much more than gaming, the Western world (most of the world in fact...) is completely dependant on them.
They have never, and will never compete against the consoles. It is not a rival platform it is a processing system.
