"X-Box a flp or not"

Is the XBox a flop or not. Everybody had been waiting for this next gen console to come out.When it was released people were flooding to get one in the shops but then about a month later I went into a games shop and there were loads of consoles still avaible. Then when I wondered is XBox was a flop.

I'm not sure everybody thinks that but I've heard that the machines scatches the disk and the games aren't as good as they are made out to be. The only games that I think are good is Obi-Wan, Halo and Gta3 that actually push Xbox's power to the limit. I know that they're are rivals like the Playstation 2 and the longely awaited Gamecube but I don't think the Xbox will survive even as long as the Dreamcast did.

My verdict is that I think it is a flop and I'm sure people think differently about it but wouldn't you think a 733MHz proceesor would do a better jobs of entertaining.

The price might be the same but the range of games on the Xbox is not. You cant play Pc games on xbox but on the ps2 you can play ps1 games so your getting a better value for your money

So Kane52 do you like the Xbox or not? First you say you like the games not the console now you say they are boring and don't last. I'm a Ninty but i think others in the Xbox forum are also confused by your veiws !

The Xbox is the same price as the PS2 was at launch - 300 quid.
Except the Xbox is internet ready and has a hard-drive.... so it's better value than the PS2 was at launch.

Xboxs games are just as boring and dont las t as long like the Final Fantasy Series for Ps1 that you can play on PS2. Xbox is a good console but the asking price is too much.

Can you honestly say that when the PS2 was 2 months old, it was better than the Xbox is now.
You can only judge a console after 18 months or so.

I own a PS2 also, and I find it boring and uninspiring.
It's for sale and I've only had for a month or so.
GTA3 and ICO where the only games I liked.

The xbox is not as good as the Ps2

The XBox has got its upsides and downsides and from the views of diffrent people the XBox hasn't got such a bad reputation as I thought.

And how much did your PC cost then?
If it's way better than the Xbox it must have cost at least a 1000.

Yes, the shoulder triggers really make driving games.
Compare Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast to CT on the PS2.... no comparison - and why.... the shoulder triggers - miles better.
