Is the XBox a flop or not. Everybody had been waiting for this next gen console to come out.When it was released people were flooding to get one in the shops but then about a month later I went into a games shop and there were loads of consoles still avaible. Then when I wondered is XBox was a flop.
I'm not sure everybody thinks that but I've heard that the machines scatches the disk and the games aren't as good as they are made out to be. The only games that I think are good is Obi-Wan, Halo and Gta3 that actually push Xbox's power to the limit. I know that they're are rivals like the Playstation 2 and the longely awaited Gamecube but I don't think the Xbox will survive even as long as the Dreamcast did.
My verdict is that I think it is a flop and I'm sure people think differently about it but wouldn't you think a 733MHz proceesor would do a better jobs of entertaining.

GET AN X-BOX, the Gamecube might as well be the PS2.1, it has copied all of the major PS2 titles and released them with no improvements, the THPS3 on the PS2 scored higher than the GC one, I think that tells you a lot. If you still need persuading then there is something wrong, The X-BOX is the most advanced, cutting edge, graphically superb and breath-taking console ever released and you should have a part in it just like I have! GET ONE.

People are loyal to SONY and NINTENDO and they feel that they should stick with them desopite what anyone else says.
2.
A lot of people are hiding the fact that the X-BOX is the best console becuase they know secretly that they have chose the wrong console.
3.
The price puts a lot of people off.
4.
It has not had a christmas yet where people will be able to get them with a good package.
5.
People don't trust a 'new' company into the video-gaming industry although Microsoft are excellent.
6.
The Japanese don't like it becuase they go for samll and they don't like the fact that they didn't make the best console out on the market.
7.
it has not been out long enough to make this desicion, look at the PS2, this year it is booming in sales, this will happen to the X-BOX too.

I have beem gaming for over 10 years and I have owned or played every sngle console that has ever come out. Recently I sold my PS2 with 8 games so that I can get an X-BOX, I am picking it up tomorrow night but I have play tested and researched them for well over 2 months. The PS2 is an excellent console that is one of my all time favourites but I know for a fact that the X-BOX will come out the victor at the end of this console war. The release callendar alone is a reason to get an X-BOX, games like HALO, PROJECT GOTHAM RACING, WWF: RAW IS WAR, WRECKLESS, DEAD OR ALIVE 3 and MAX PAYNE are enough of a reason to go out and get this console. But the mere fact of its sheer power and capabilities to deliver 3 times the power of any other console should speak volumes for you alone.
I avoided buying a Dreamcast becuase I knew they would be a flop but I have played them uite a few times and I knew all along that it would not last and even the psone was better than it in more than one respect. It is not the statistics that make me want an X-BOX is the years of gaming that have taught me what to buy and what not to buy and I am telling you all here today, GET AND X-BOX NOW! Ignore your Gamecube needs because it is just a copy of the PS2 and all the games it brings out but as we all know, MICROSOFT are class through and through and the X-BOX is no different!
